Most teams can tell you which creator posted what. Very few can tell you which post paid for itself. This playbook connects three parts of Socialscale — Campaigns, your AI Workforce, and Product Center — so that every euro of revenue traces back to a specific creator, product, and piece of content.
How this connects across Socialscale
Before you start
This workflow assumes your product catalog is already syncing and that the Content Tagging Agent and Ad Agent are active. If either isn't set up yet, work through Configure Your AI Workforce first — attribution is only as accurate as the tagging and matching feeding into it.
Setup checklist
0/6 done
Step 1: Launch the campaign against synced products
Create the campaign in Campaigns and attach it to the product set you want to move — not just a broad "brand" campaign. Attribution downstream is per-product, so the tighter the product set, the cleaner the report.
Pro tip
If a product isn't in Product Center yet, add it before launch. Content posted before a product is synced won't retroactively pick up product-fit scoring or attribution — the Content Tagging Agent can only match against what it can see in your catalog.
Step 2: Recruit and brief creators
Bring creators in through My Creators, and brief them with the specific products from Step 1. Socialscale keeps the collaboration, deliverables, and payout terms attached to the campaign, so every piece of content a creator publishes is already linked to the right campaign context before it's even posted.
Step 3: Let the Content Tagging Agent do the matching
As content comes in, the Content Tagging Agent listens for spoken product mentions and visual context, then assigns the correct product and creator to each piece automatically. Anything it isn't confident about is routed to your team for manual review instead of being silently dropped or mis-tagged.
Why this step can't be skipped
Attribution is built on top of these tags. If content isn't tagged to a product, the Ad Agent has nothing to attach performance data to, and that content simply won't appear in the attribution report — it won't show as zero, it will just be missing.
Step 4: Track ad performance with the Ad Agent
If any of this content is boosted or repurposed into paid media, the Ad Agent pulls performance directly from your connected ad accounts (TikTok Ad Manager, Meta Ad Manager, Google Ad Manager) and attaches it to the same content record — so organic and paid performance live on one timeline per post, not two separate systems.
Step 5: Read the commerce attribution report
Open the campaign and filter by product to see:
- Which creators drove revenue for which products
- Organic vs. paid contribution per piece of content
- ROAS and cost-per-click at the content level, not just the campaign level
Pro tip
Sort by Product Fit score (from the AI Content Scoring Agent) alongside revenue. High-scoring, high-revenue content is your template for the next brief — low-scoring, high-revenue content is worth a second look, since it's outperforming what the model expected.
What good looks like
A campaign is fully instrumented when every live piece of content has a product tag, a creator, and — where applicable — an ad performance record. That's the point at which the attribution report stops being a sample and starts being your source of truth for which creators and products to double down on next cycle.
