A common ask: "I want this creator tracked, but only the posts where they actually mention us — not their whole feed." That's a real, built-in scope choice on Auto Import Future Content, not something you have to fake with manual curation. This workflow walks through setting it up.

Step 1: Sync Product Center first
Mention detection works off the same matching logic as the Content Tagging Agent — it checks spoken and visual context against what's in your catalog. A product that isn't synced can't be detected as a mention, so do this before you turn tracking on, not after (see Sync Your Product Catalog).
Step 2: Turn on Auto Import, scoped to mentions
On the creator's profile in My Creators, turn on Auto Import Future Content and choose the mentions-only scope instead of all content. From here on, only posts where this creator actually references your brand or a specific product flow into your Content Library — everything else in their feed is left alone.

This is the right default for a broad affiliate or recruitment roster — creators you don't have a tight ongoing relationship with, where you only care about content that's actually about you. Step 3: Let the Content Tagging Agent finish the job
Content that clears the mentions-only filter still goes through the same Content Tagging Agent matching as everything else — the filter decides what gets imported, the agent decides exactly which product and creator it gets tagged to. Anything it's not confident about still lands in Review rather than being tagged automatically.

If mentions-only tracking looks like it's missing content you know exists, check Product Center before assuming something's broken — an unsynced product can't be detected as a mention, so relevant posts simply won't clear the filter.
Step 4: Curate further if you need to
Mentions-only tracking gets you most of the way, but if you want an even tighter, hand-picked set — for a report, or for pulling into a Website Widget — move the content that matters most into a dedicated Folder in Content Library. This is a manual finishing step on top of an already-filtered starting point, not a replacement for the filter.
What good looks like
A creator on mentions-only tracking should show a Content Library history that's almost entirely tagged to your products, with a small, manageable Review queue rather than a large backlog of untagged content. If the ratio looks off, check Product Center sync before assuming the filter itself is misbehaving.
