This is the full loop: turning an empty Creator Hub into creators who are actively selling your products from their own storefronts and getting paid for it — without you touching a spreadsheet or a bank transfer at any point.
How this connects across Socialscale
Before you start
Setup checklist
0/5 done
Step 1: Make sure the foundation is live
Three things need to already be true, covered in detail in their own guides:
- Sync Your Product Catalog — storefronts are empty without it
- Set Up Your Creator Hub — your branding, sign-up link, commission rate, and attribution window
- The Socialscale Pixel live on your site — without it, sales happen but nothing gets attributed
Skipping any of these doesn't block the program from launching, but it means creators join a storefront that either has nothing to sell or doesn't pay out correctly. Fix the foundation before you invite people, not after.
Step 2: Get creators into the Hub
You have three ways to fill your roster, and most programs end up using more than one:
- Share your sign-up link directly — bio, DMs, email — and let creators self-serve in
- Recruit from your existing customers — see Turn Shopify Customers Into Creators for the full flow from Shopify order data to an invited creator
- Import creators you already know via My Creators → Add creators → Import from social media, for people you're recruiting directly rather than waiting on a self-serve sign-up
Pro tip
Decide your Creator Hub Approvals settings before you push a sign-up link out widely. If you want to hand-review every new creator, keep auto-approve off until you're ready for volume — see Automate Creator and Post Approvals.
Step 3: Activate a collaboration
A storefront alone lets a creator sell passively, but a collaboration (created from Campaigns → Create new collaboration) is how you actively brief and activate creators around specific products. It's a three-step setup:
- Platform selection — activate your own creator network, tap into Socialscale's broader creator network, or use Socialscale's managed services if you'd rather not run recruitment yourself
- Collaboration type — the format of the collaboration you're running
- Compensation structure — how creators are paid for this specific collaboration, which can sit alongside their standard storefront commission
Note
You don't need an active collaboration for a creator to earn storefront commission — an organic share of their storefront link still counts as long as the pixel and attribution window pick it up. Collaborations are for actively directing effort toward specific products or moments, not a prerequisite for creators to sell at all.
Step 4: Let the loop run
Once creators are in and at least one collaboration is live:
- Creators post, and auto-tracking pulls that content in
- The AI Workforce scores and tags it against your product catalog
- Shoppers click through creator storefronts, the pixel attributes the click, and a sale within the attribution window credits that creator
- Socialscale calculates and pays out commission — see Creator Payments for exactly what that covers and what stays your call
Step 5: Watch it with your daily routine
Fold this program into the check-in you're already running.
Workflow playbook
Your daily content & ad performance check-in
A repeatable routine for reviewing what came in overnight, what's scoring well, and what needs attention — in about ten minutes.
What good looks like
A healthy program looks like a small, steady stream of self-serve sign-ups from your bio link, a Review queue that stays manageable, and storefront sales you can trace to a specific creator without asking them for a discount code or a screenshot. If you're still manually reconciling who sold what, something upstream — usually the pixel or the product sync — isn't fully wired up yet.
