Auto-track your social channels

Connect creator profiles and individual posts so new content flows into Socialscale automatically, instead of manual exports and screenshots.

There are two different ways content ends up tracked in Socialscale, and mixing them up is the most common setup mistake we see. This article covers both: tracking a creator's whole channel going forward, and tracking a single post you already have a link to.

Setup checklist

0/3 done

Method 1: Auto-import a creator's future content

This is the "set it and forget it" option, and it's what most teams should use for their regular roster of creators.

  1. Go to My Creators and open a creator's profile (or add one via Add creators → Import from social media).
  2. On the creator's profile, turn on Auto Import Future Content.

From that point on, new posts from that creator are pulled into your Content Library automatically — no manual export, no waiting for a monthly report. If you also want their back catalog, use Import Existing Content on the same profile to backfill.

Auto Import isn't strictly all-or-nothing, either — it has a scope choice: import everything the creator posts, or import only the posts where they actually mention your brand or products. See Import Creator Content Only When They Mention You for when to use which.

Pro tip

Turn on auto-import for creators you're actively running campaigns with, not your entire recruitment list. For a broader roster, scope it to mentions-only instead of turning it off entirely — you still catch everything relevant without the noise of their whole feed.

Method 2: Track a single post by link

For a one-off — a mention you noticed, a post from someone outside your creator roster — go to Content Library → Add content → Social media link and paste the post URL directly. It's added to your library as a single piece of content and picked up by the AI Workforce the same way anything else is, but it won't continue tracking that account going forward.

Note

Use social media link import for evidence-gathering (a competitor mention, a spontaneous UGC post). Use auto-import for anyone you want ongoing visibility into. They're not interchangeable — link import is a snapshot, auto-import is a subscription.

What happens after content is tracked

Tracked content — from either method — lands in Content Library and becomes visible to the AI Workforce:

  • AI Content Scoring Agent scores it on brand safety, hook, product fit, and quality
  • Content Tagging Agent matches it to a product and creator
  • Ad Agent attaches paid performance if that content is also running as an ad

None of that happens until content is tracked — tracking is the front door everything else walks through.

Next: build a habit around it

Tracking is only useful if someone's looking at what comes in. Pair this with a regular check-in on scores and performance.
