Set up your Creator Hub

Create your branded creator platform — the sign-up experience creators use to join, get their own storefront, and start collaborating.

This unlocks

Creator Hub is your branded, self-serve front door for creators — a signup link you control, with your own name, logo, and sign-up image, that turns a stranger into a creator with a storefront in a couple of clicks. It's literally the second item on Socialscale's own setup checklist, right after account creation, which tells you how central it is to everything else.

Before you start

Setup checklist

0/3 done

Step 1: Configure your Creator Platform

Go to Settings → Creator Hub. Set:

  • Name — shown to creators throughout sign-up and their storefront
  • Logo and Sign-up page image — the branding creators see before they've heard of you otherwise
  • Sign-up link for creators — a single URL you share anywhere (bio link, email, DM) that takes a creator straight into your branded sign-up flow

Pro tip

Copy the sign-up link once you've set your branding and drop it in your own social bios. It's the lowest-effort recruitment channel you have — creators who already follow you can self-serve into your program without you reaching out first.

Step 2: Set your commission rate and attribution window

Under Sales tracking, Creator Hub uses the Socialscale Pixel to credit sales back to the creator storefront that drove them. Two settings control the economics:

  • Commission Rate — the percentage of a sale paid out to the creator (a common starting point is around 10%)
  • Attribution Window — how long after a click a sale still counts toward that creator (a common starting point is 30 days)

Get these two right before you invite creators — changing them later changes expectations for people already collaborating with you.

Do this before you invite creators

The Socialscale Pixel needs to be live on your website for storefront sales to be tracked at all. If it isn't installed yet, creators can still sign up and build storefronts, but their sales won't be attributed — which looks like the program doesn't work when really it's just not measured yet.

Step 3: Save and test the sign-up flow yourself

Click Edit Creator Platform to review everything, then open your own sign-up link in a private browser window to see exactly what a creator sees. This is worth doing once — it's the only way to catch a broken logo or a confusing name before a real creator does.

What creators get once they join

A creator who signs up through your Creator Hub link gets three things immediately, all inside their own Creator Hub:

  • A Storefront — their own shoppable page built from your Product Center catalog (covered in detail in the next article)
  • Campaigns — any collaboration you've activated them into is visible right there in their Creator Hub, alongside the brief and terms, not sent as a separate email or doc they have to track down. Every campaign is funded from your account's Marketing budget — you top up once, and Socialscale pays creators as your Payer of Record (see Understanding Campaigns)
  • A Wallet — where their attributed earnings show up and where they get paid, covered in Creator Payments

Pro tip

Because Campaigns and the Wallet both live inside the same Creator Hub a creator already signed up through, you don't need a second tool or a separate login to brief someone or show them what they've earned — it's the same place they landed on day one.

Workflow playbook

Launch a creator storefront program end-to-end

From an empty Creator Hub to paying your first creator: recruit, onboard, activate a collaboration, and let Socialscale handle the payout.
