Complete your Get Started checklist

Socialscale's own onboarding checklist is five steps. Here's what each one actually unlocks, and where to go for the full how-to on each.

Every new account starts on Get Started, with a five-step checklist. It's short on purpose — each step is a genuine prerequisite for the next one, not busywork. This article is the map; each step links to the guide that actually walks you through it.

Create your account

This step is complete — you're ready to continue exploring.

Create your Creator Hub

This allows your creators to create digital storefronts with your products, and participate in collaborations.

Add your first products

Upload or sync your products to start showcasing your store items.

Invite your first creators

Share your creator platform link so your creators can register and stay connected with you.

Launch your first collaboration

Activate your creators by creating your first collaboration to boost your products.

The five steps, and where the real how-to lives

  1. Create your account — done the moment you sign up
  2. Create your Creator Hub — your branded sign-up experience; see Set Up Your Creator Hub
  3. Add your first products — syncs your catalog so everything downstream has something real to work with; see Sync Your Product Catalog
  4. Invite your first creators — get people into the roster you just built a home for; see My Creators: Reading a Creator's Profile or, if you'd rather start from your existing customers, Turn Shopify Customers Into Creators
  5. Launch your first collaboration — activate creators around specific products; see Understanding Campaigns

Pro tip

Notice what's not on this checklist: turning on your AI Workforce. It's arguably more foundational than any of these five steps — see Configure Your AI Workforce — so treat it as step zero, done alongside or before this list rather than after it.

Why the order matters

Each step depends on the one before it in a way that isn't obvious until something's missing:

  • A Creator Hub with no products synced gives creators an empty storefront
  • Invited creators with no live collaboration have nowhere to actually work
  • A collaboration launched before products are synced has nothing concrete to brief creators on

Watch out

It's tempting to invite creators first to "get the ball rolling" — resist it. A creator who signs up to an empty storefront and hears nothing for a week is a worse first impression than a slightly later invite to a fully set-up program.

What happens after 5/5

Completing the checklist doesn't end anything — it's the floor, not the ceiling. From here, the natural next moves are turning on scoring and tagging if you haven't (see Configure Your AI Workforce) and understanding how what you've just set up turns into a measurable Revenue and Cost per creator and per piece of content — see How content and creators become revenue-generating assets.

Workflow playbook

Launch a creator storefront program end-to-end

From an empty Creator Hub to paying your first creator: recruit, onboard, activate a collaboration, and let Socialscale handle the payout.
